the history of getting a ticket for expired car license tabs or tags in seattle, washington is over

ABOUT: HISTORY

TabReminder began from a very simple premise: that something as simple and easy as renewing your license tabs can unnecessarily cost you time and money.

We kept hearing stories from friends and colleagues about how they had been pulled over by the police and given a ticket for expired car license tabs or tags. Most of them had not even realized that their tabs had expired. Or they had misplaced their notice in the piles of paper on their desk. Some people said they had never even received their notice in the mail.

As a result, they ended up spending more time and money, which few of us have anyway, in order to deal with something that could have easily been avoided.

Our original idea was to have our TabReminder logo on magnetic business cards with spaces for people to fill in their expiration dates. Then they could place them on the fridge and be reminded each time they went to get a beer, or a yogurt or whatever.

That was ok, but we wanted something more reliable and proactive to remind people to renew their car and boat tabs and tags. Thus this site was born.

We value your input and comments about this site. Please contact us to let us know how we can improve your experience with TabReminder.
